New Services
What new services will My Choice be offering INetPlus customers?
-
VoIP – Voice over IP telephone service. This was something offered prior to our purchase of the business a couple of years ago, however, the quality of the network would not permit high quality service. The changes we’ve put into place now have corrected this and we’ll be rolling this out in the 4th quarter of this year, likely in November.
-
Co-Location – This can provide huge benefits to any business (and some individuals) that need to have their servers in climate controlled environment where they can get access to large amounts of bandwidth and have the redundancy in place to make sure the servers have an “always on” service level. This is perfect for businesses that want to have cost effective hosting, mirrored servers, hosted e-mail applications, disaster recovery, hosted website applications, … Many businesses can save a great deal of money using a facility such as ours. Let us know how we can help your business improve performance and save money.
-
Network Support – We can help your business with its networking. We can do everything from simple break-fix work to becoming your outsourced IT Department. Through our parent company, Access US (www.accessus.net) we have a deep set of skills that can be used on a “when needed” basis. Please let us know how we can help (sales@mychoice.net).
-
PC Repairs and Maintenance – Many customers have asked for help with their PCs. We can help remove viruses and malware, hardware and software upgrades, installation of applications, programming routers and wireless equipment and much more.
-
Hotspots – in some of our Illinois markets (including Marion, Jordan’s Fort, Freeman Spur, Carmi, Brownsville, Crainville, and soon more) we will soon be offering a large area “hotspot” for customers that want to have service but don’t want to install equipment. For many customers in these areas that have wireless cards for their computers (they’re pretty cheap now if you don’t) they can simply connect directly to the network using their computer (within our coverage areas). This will be a great new service for many customers and will permit them to have their connection in more than one place. For example, they may be able to connect with their laptop at home and also at work.
-
Television – we’ve been asked by many customers to supply them with some sort of television service. We’re evaluating our options and expect to have something to tell you in the next few months.
